About Nick Springer

Profile

I have been interested in maps ever since I can remember. I would "read" atlases as a child just for fun, looking at the shapes of natural features, excited by all the place names.
I have a degree in Geography from Syracuse University, and have been working professionally in both Cartography and Graphic Design for 15 years.
In 2004 I founded the website CartoTalk.com, which has grown to become the premiere web community for cartographers. I have also been active in NACIS, currently serving on the board.
